Cooking could be difficult atimes... Am in the kitchen trying to cook up dinner for myself and then am thinking at the same time how difficult it is to bring up a fashion topic here and then it comes to me... Petite people in fashion especially as models and how laughable some people at this era still thinks it is.
This tends to be a really sensitive topic in the fashion industry and also on social media. I have read blogs by other people on this topic, seen and even experienced it first hand. It has dashed the hope of so many aspiring models both male and female.
In Nigeria the case isn't so different either since we copy western culture so its not entirely our fault. I strongly believe in change and it comes with reorientation.
Moreover more than 50% of real everyday people are mostly petite (ranging between 4'9 - 5'7) and they also love to wear fashionable clothes, so why can't people of that size market or model the clothes first hand for customers to see? Just wondering?
Well, thank God that there are different types of modelling when it comes to fashion and someone aspiring to become a model just needs to know their specifications before deciding where the fall into.
Believe me petite people or models are always beautiful, confident, edgy and classy.
WORD - You don't have to be a model to be self confident.
